ABOUT TEEN EPILEPSY ADVOCACY
Hi, my name is Annie Breger and I am the founder of Teen Epilepsy Advocacy. I was diagnosed with epilepsy just before my 14th birthday, high school, and the time of understanding myself as a person. Then and even now, there aren't many resources specifically for teens with epilepsy to get answers and fully understand something that may be uncomfortable to talk to anyone else about. The goal of Teen Epilepsy Advocacy is to offer answers to teens with epilepsy and their loved ones. I hope to provide hope through my own story. This, and the idea that a diagnosis doesn't define you or your life will encourage teens with epilepsy to live as free and open as they want to.
OUR MISSION
The mission of Teen Epilepsy Advocacy is to bring awareness to and destigmatize teenagers living with epilepsy.
